Loughrea’s Heritage Walking Tour

Join Colman Shaughnessy and Joe Loughnane, Loughrea Memorial Group, for a walk and talk around Loughrea. Our local knowledgeable guides will introduce you to the town’s built and natural history from its medieval routes to the present day.

This is a walking tour so please wear suitable footwear and clothing.

Location: Clonfert Diocesan Museum, grounds of St. Brendan’s Cathedral, Barrack Street, Loughrea, County Galway

This event forms part of Loughrea Medieval Festival – 25th-27th August, 2017.
The festival is organised by Loughrea Medieval Festival Committee, in partnership with Irish Walled Towns Network, Galway County Council and The Heritage Council.
