Loughrea Medieval Festival organisers are delighted to partner with Galway County Council under the Community Support Scheme 2017, Irish Walled Towns Network and The Heritage Council.

Join Loughrea Medieval Festival for a weekend of free Medieval family fun as we recreate medieval life in all its glory – Friday 25th – Sunday 27th August 2017. Walled Towns in Loughrea will take place Sunday 27 August, 1pm – 5pm, at Fairgreen, Loughrea.

Complimenting Heritage Week’s theme ‘It’s In Your Nature’, Loughrea Medieval Festival’s 2017 theme is “Forget-me-not” – a reminder of our natural heritage, but also, not to forget Loughrea’s medieval heritage.

Organisers have lined up series of talks, re-enactments and weapon displays, music, lots of family entertainment and lots more. Keep up-to-date at facebook.com/loughreamedievalfestival

Loughrea Medieval Festival 25th-27th August is a unique, free and not-to-be-missed commemorative weekend the whole family will enjoy.
