Walled Towns Day Parade

Help us celebrate Loughrea’s Medieval Heritage – join us for Loughrea Medieval Festival Walled Towns Day Parade
Sunday, August 31, 2014, starting 1pm sharp.

Inspired by our Medieval past, participants of all ages are invited to dress in themed costumes inspired by the Middle Ages, and join this parade of music, and dance.

Parade Route:

  • Parade starts: The Walks (Station Road entrance), gathering in Station Road Car Park from 12.30pm
  • Ends: at the Fairgreen for the start of the Walled Towns Medieval Family Free Fun Day.

The parade will run along The Walks, where Loughrea’s moat can be viewed at its best, past the Westbridge where one of the three town gates once stood, into the Fair Green for the start of the Walled Towns Medieval Family Fun Day.
